David Wright David Wright, son of Chaplain (Col.) and Mrs. Phillip Wright, is a seventh grade student at Covenant Classical Christian School.

After winning his school's geography bee, David took a qualifying test to become one of 100 students meeting to compete in the state bee competition.

The South Carolina Geography Bee contest is April 3, at the South Carolina State Museum in Columbia.

The state winner will receive $100, the "National Geographic Collegiate Atlas of the World" and a trip to Washington, D.C. where he/she will represent South Carolina in the national finals on May 19- 20, 2009.
