The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store is in need of donations. The store, which is located at 1312 North Millwood Avenue, accepts gently used clothing, furniture, electronics, and other usable household items.

"The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store meets a variety of community needs, including helping families and individuals achieve greater levels of self- sufficiency," said Michelle Berrios, assistant store manager.

Income generated by the Family Thrift Store supports The Salvation Army programs for the homeless and families living in poverty. Hours for The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store are Monday- Friday 9:30 am to 6 pm and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm. To make a donation or to schedule a pick up, please call 748- 9964.
