Presenting the check from the Marine Foundation are (l- r) Chuck Paxton, S.C. Adj. Gen. Stan Spears, Gene Rogers, Medal of Honor Recipient Charles Murray of Columbia, Gene Wilburn, Larry Wisvold, Major Williamson (USMC), Nelson Lacy. The S.C. State Guard is the state militia with ties back to Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox of the Revolutionary War.
