City looks for Commission members

The City of Columbia is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the Columbia Tree and Appearance Commission in the following capacities: one member shall be a landscape architect; one member shall be a developer/ realtor; one member shall be a architect/ engineer; and two members shall be at large.

The mission of the Columbia Tree and Appearance Commission is to protect, enhance and promote the City of Columbia's natural resources and visual beauty. The purpose of the commission is to oversee the development and implementation of the beautification plan.

All applicants must reside within the corporate limits of the City of Columbia.

The term of office is three years. The Commission meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:30 pm.
