The performers or performing groups were met with loud applause when taking the stage.

Canon George Chassey, master of ceremonies, graced the audience with excerpts from the book he is writing on his childhood in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Resident entertainment included songs, dances, poetry recitation, groups such as the Rickety Rocket's and even commercials. The talented residents included Chubby Rice, Lottie McLain, Blackie Meadows, Nancy Self, Madge Majors, Frances Tupper and Gene Oliver.

Staff talents were "exposed" through songs such as "Long Tall Texan" and a dubious redetection of the Supremes', "Stop In the Name of Love." The audience also enjoyed the beautiful song, "Let There Be Peace on Earth" by Susan McDaniel as well as "Till Then" by Larry Welch, the well- known driver of the Still Hopes bus.

For the show's finale, the entire audience participated in the popular "Pizza Hut Song", lead by residents, Madge Major and Frances Tupper. This gave everyone the opportunity to launch into song and action regardless of perceived talent. Laughter and applause were abundant as the residents showed their appreciation
