Carillon Carolers to croon love songs at Koger Center
Contributed by S.C. Philharmonic Stepping out to the South Carolina Philharmonic's Valentine's Day concert? The Carillon Carolers will be on hand to croon old love songs in SATB a cappella style to your sweetie. Look for the carolers, dressed in Victorian costumes, in the lobby of the Koger Center during the hour before the February 14 concert, which begins at 7:30 pm. The Phil will be performing El amor brujo by Falla and A Midsummer Night's Dream by Mendelssohn, assisted by vocal soloists and the Women's Chorus from the University of South Carolina School of Music, as well as Shakespearean actors.
