Free Screening for Kidney Disease

The National Kidney Foundation of South Carolina will bring a free community health screening from 9 am- 12 pm at the First Christian Church, located, 2062 Beltline Blvd., Columbia.
Participants will be tested for high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and a urinalysis for protein. The screening is open to anyone in the community over 18 years of age.
The free screening is part of the National Kidney Foundation's Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP) designed to identify and educate people at risk - those with diabetes, high blood pressure or a family history of kidney disease. Fasting is not required for the blood test.
