Columbia Council of Neighborhoods holds annual meeting

      The Columbia Council of Neighborhoods held its annual banquet at the Print Building in Eau Claire December 18, 2008. The Columbia Council of Neighborhoods is a volunteer, community- based umbrella organization which coordinates the activities of approximately 95 city neighborhood organizations.

      Gina A. and Sam E. McCuen recently attended a reception in Washington, D.C. at the residence of His Excellency Pierre Vimont, the Ambassador of France to the United States. The event was held to honor the relationship between George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette during the American Revolution.
