      The Computer Club at St. Peter's Catholic School began their study of journalism on December 2. Dr. Warner M. Montgomery, publisher of The Columbia Star, and Eric Davis, president of Future Tech and sponsor of the club, demonstrated how a newspaper is designed, laid out, and published.

Providence Hospital recognizes student artists

      Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals executive team recently recognized a group of student artists for their submissions in the hospital's annual Christmas card art contest. Cassidy Wilson, a fifth grader at St. Peter's Catholic School, won first prize for her drawing.
