BMS Students Win SC Middle School Mock Trial Regional Competition

 Contributed by Blythewood Middle School Blythewood Middle School students won SC Middle School Mock Trial Regional Competition receiving the Advancement Award on November 22, 2008. The team participated in the state finals December 6, 2008. Although the team did not make it to the final round, awards were presented to Raven Suber and Brynne Wyatt (most effective witnesses); Anna Mallard and Brittany Lopetrone (most effective attorneys). Team members are 8th grade: Anna Mallard (Attorney), Morgan Burns (Witness), Natalia Mandujano (Attorney), Brynne Wyatt (Witness), Morgan Lewis (Attorney), Eboni Drake (Witness), Brittany Jerome (Attorney), Brittany Lopetrone (Attorney), Helen Burgess (Attorney), Kristen Metcalf (Attorney), Raven Suber (Witness), Thomas Olds (Witness), Autumn Garcia (Attorney), Imani Wiley- English (Witness) 6th grade: Thomas Neal (Bailiff/Time-keeper).
