Richland Two dedicates Bridge Creek Elementary

Bridge Creek students entertained the crowd with cheering and singing. Bridge Creek students entertained the crowd with cheering and singing. A dedication ceremony for Bridge Creek Elementary School took place Thursday, November 20 at 1 pm in the schools multipurpose room. The ribbon- cutting honors were given to school board members: Susan Brill, Chip Jackson and Barbara Specter, Bridge Creek principal Dr. Felix Figueroa and superintendent Dr. Stephen Hefner. Children entertained the crowd with cheering and singing. The ceremony was followed by a reception for the guests.

Bridge Creek opened in August 2008 with approximately 441 students. Bridge Creek is a site adaptation replicating the Lake Caroli- na Elementary School. The new Bridge Creek design includes four additional classrooms and associated support space. It is located at the corner of Kelly Mill and Bombing Range Roads.
