Dental Access Carolina is a program for eligible students to receive dental care without leaving school. It has a van equipped with everything necessary to provide complete general dental services. Based on the child's needs, the doctor determines the services that are needed; these may include exams, x- rays, cleanings, and fillings. Richland County Public Library's Kids in Print, a publication that features artwork, photos, and writing by young people ages six to 18 each year, is an opportunity for kids to express their creativity. More ... Killian Elementary School student, Sabrina Slone, won third place in the South Carolina Math Poster Contest, in the state in her division. Her poster was on display at the state conference in Charleston, SC. Her third grade teacher, Dana Douglas, received free registration to the conference. More ... Killian Elementary Softball Team, The Little Red Schoolhouse, won the league championship for the co- ed fall league at Polo Road.
