Shepherd's Center begins New Year

The Shepherd's Center of Columbia will begin its winter session, January 7 - March 12 at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church, 3401 Trenholm Road. At every Wednesday session, blood pressure checks are offered. Also, there is coffee along with fellowship.

Morning Classes include:

9 am- Acrylic and Watercolor painting

10 am- Dulcimers, Classic Movies and Great Stars, Europe in The Roaring Twenties, Gardening Seminars, Writing to Get Right Down to the Real Nitty Gritty, Handbells, and John Adams

11 am- An Architectural Odyssey Part II, The Best of Short Fiction, Europe in the Dark Ages, The History of American Jazz and Swing, Looking Ahead by Planning for the Years to Come, and The Music and Stories of Famous Operas.

Lunch is served at noon, $7, and reservations are required.

Afternoon classes include:

1:30- 2:30- Bridge Playing, Music is Fun, and Tripping with Warner Montgomery in Columbia and other Exotic Places
