Killian Elementary School recently celebrated Red Ribbon Week with a production of the play "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," performed by the "Not Ready for Prime Time Players" of the school.

This group of teachers and students have performed in various dramatic productions dating back to the year 2001.

"This unique group has the courage to step on stage with a fun - yet fundamental message to make a difference in the lives of children through drama," says Dr. Hilton Gilbert, the school counselor and founder of the group.

The premise of the play was a question and answer segment that focused on educating students about the dangers of illegal drug use and alcohol.

This is the players' sixth year performing "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" starring Mrs. Gene Parks as the game show host.

Other's participating in the play included Mrs. Twanna Mickle as Vanna; Ms. Kendra Waring as Grandma Thornberry; Mrs. Dyisha Taylor as the Sound- Technical Engineer, and students portraying the game show contestants: Deonte Demone Robinson, Stacy Marie Klauman, Allison Dejoyce Demary, Jerome Eugene Calloway, Grace Alisa Wallace, Katelyn Ann Wood, Kevin Joseph King, Frank Shaw Gilbert III, and Morgan Alexandra Harrison.
