Bridge Creek Elementary School held a Carolina- Clemson Week Competition Food Drive to benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank. Classes collected canned goods and non- perishable items for a week. At the end of the week, the class collecting the most items won a pizza party from CiCi's Pizza. Together, the school collected over 1,000 items to be used for feeding others in our community.

Students learned about the mission and purpose of Harvest Hope, how dependent they are on help from schools and other organizations, how students can be a vital part of the community, how many potential families can be fed with donations, and how good it feels to help others.
