      The Shepherd's Center of Columbia will begin its winter session, January 7 - March 12 at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church, 3401 Trenholm Road. At every Wednesday session, blood pressure checks are offered. Also, there is coffee along with fellowship.

      The November meeting of the Petal Pushers Garden Club was held in the Card Room at the Wildwood Downs Retirement Center. The auctioneer was Shirley Smith. The buffet, which was served before the meeting, consisted of fresh fruit, cheese, sandwiches, coffee, tea, and an array of delectible desserts. The hostesses were Sandy Murray and Edna Kreese.
