"This is a stunning achievement for these students," said Brenda Hefner, CAP's lead teacher. "CAP students come to us at least one grade level behind their peers. Our goal is to help them catch up and rejoin their peers in high school. Our honor roll students are clearly on their way with many other students close behind."

CAP is an innovative two- year District Two program designed for seventh graders who are at least one grade level behind. The program offers an intense course of study to provide students the opportunity to enter high school as sophomores on schedule for graduation. During the intensive two year program of study, students will complete seventh, eighth, and ninth grade requirements, enabling them to enter high school as sophomores.
