"The dinner was to honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who risk their lives each day fighting to preserve the ideals upon which America was founded. By living a life of honor, duty, and sacrifice, they are following the heroic example set by our veterans . We are indebted to you for your selfless service, and we are grateful that you inspire others to follow in your path to protect and defend the freedom we cherish."
