      Remember the children's book Leo the Late Bloomer about a young tiger who could not keep up with his peers? He just bloomed on a different schedule than the others. The story is used by teachers and parents to ease the growing pains of the young. Plants can be late bloomers too.

The campaign will support the association's honey bee research fund and the other is to establish a Clemson University endowment for a graduate student fellowship to conduct honey bee research.

Garden Club Council of Greater Columbia Flower Show
      The Garden Club Council of Greater Columbia invites the public to a Flower Show with Horticulture at the Garden Council Building. The Council Building is located at 1605 Park Circle, Maxcy Gregg Park and the event will be held on Friday, December 5 from 2 pm until 7 pm and Saturday, December 6 from 12 pm until 4:30 pm.
