Kathryn Elizabeth Strickland and James Ransome Dallas Mr. and Mrs. Clyde "Rusty" Dallas announce the engagement of their son to Kathryn Elizabeth Strickland.

The bride- elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dary Strickland and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reiff. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Betty Vaughn of Marietta, Georgia, and the late Herbert Vaughn, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Strickland of Cartersville, Georgia. The bride- elect graduated from Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, Georgia, and Columbia College with a BA in dance education, a BFA in dance performance and choreography, and an M.Ed. in divergent learning: arts emphasis. She teaches dance at Crayton Middle School.

The bridegroom- elect, James Ransome Dallas, is the grandson of Mr. Joseph James of Aiken, South Carolina, and the late Mrs. Pebble James, and Mrs. Florence Dallas of Columbia and the late Mr. Russell Dallas. The bridegroom- elect graduated from A.C. Flora High School. He is the key accounts manager of Beverage South.
