      Members of Cullen's Archangel Rescue pulled this absolutely wonderful dog from the Columbia city shelter. She was so well behaved and sweet. We just knew she was someone's dog, and they were surely missing her. The shelter tried to locate the owners through her microchip but didn't have any luck.

PAALS holds Dog Walk
      PAALS (Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services) and The Heartworm Project will hold Animals Helping People and People Helping Animals with a dog walk November 22, 2008 from 11 am to 3 pm at Saluda Shoals Park. A Chapin Chow Down will be held the night before at several local restaurants who will give part of their dinner proceeds to these two great charities.

Eagle Scout teaches bowling technique

      On Sunday afternoon, the Anchor Lanes Bowling alley was the site of the completion of an Eagle Scout project for A.C. Flora High School student John Douglas Elliott. He celebrated the completion of this project by enjoying a few games of bowling with some of his close friends.
