Columbia Museum of Art exhibition reveals culture of ancient Chinese

     The Columbia Museum of Art will show, for the first time, a major gift to the museum of Chinese art in the exhibition, Eye to the East: The Turner Collection of Chinese Art. The exhibition opens on December 19, 2008, and will be on view through May 10, 2009.

Colored Girls comes to Trustus Theatre
      The NiA Company, Trustus' multi-ethnic company, is bringing the celebrated choreopoem For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf to Trustus. The show will open Nov. 14 at 8 pm in the Trustus Black Box and runs Nov. 15 (8pm), Nov. 16 (3pm), Nov. 20 (7:30pm), Nov. 21 (8pm), and Nov. 22 (8pm). Seating is limited.
