Sojourner Virginia Saunders of Columbia won awards at the International Photography Awards competition at Lincoln Center in New York City on October 20.

Her entry Visions &

Dreams was awarded first place in the Fine Art Collage and honorable mention in Special- Digitally E nhanced

non- professional categories. She was accompanied by her husband, Dr. Willard Moore, to the black- tie ceremony.

The competition had over 22,000 submissions from 124 countries. Each year the IPA salutes the achievements of the world's finest photographers.
