CIU enters into partnership with Army chaplaincy

Williams and Columbia International University Vice President Mike Blackwell Columbia International University (CIU) and the U.S. Army have entered into a partnership that provides a full tuition CIU scholarship to a student enrolled in the Army's Chaplaincy program. The student receiving the annual $4,500 scholarship must also be enrolled full time in CIU's Seminary & School of Missions.

As part of the agreement, the Army will include information about CIU and the scholarship on its chaplaincy webpage with a link to CIU's website.

The partnership was inked during a signing ceremony at CIU by Mike Blackwell, CIU vice president for Corporate Communications and Enrollment, and by Col. Charles E. Williams who commands the U.S. Army Special Missions Brigade.
