Miss Ellsworth and Mr. Keller marry in NorthCarolina

Mr. and Mrs. David Andrew Keller Mr. and Mrs. David Andrew Keller Ashleigh Duncan Ellsworth and David Andrew Keller, both of Flagstaff, Arizona, were married July 26, 2008, on the green at Hidden River in Swannanoa, North Carolina. The 5 pm ceremony was performed by The Rev. Dr. Jeanne Matthews Sommer.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anthony Ellsworth, is the granddaughter of Mrs. Raymond R. Ellsworth, the late Rev. Raymond R. Ellsworth, and the late Mr. and Mrs. O. Alderman Duncan. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where she received a BA in English; Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, where she received an MA in religion; and Northern Arizona University, where she received an MA in sustainable communities and women's and gender studies. At Wake Forest, she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She has recently accepted a position as camp director for the DREAM program in Burlington, Vermont.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Joseph Keller of Flagstaff, is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Keller and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ladislaw L. Kumpost, all of New York City. He is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a BS in history and religious studies with minors in Asian studies and women's and gender studies. He will be working for the Champlain Housing Trust in Burlington.

The maid of honor was Lindsay Ellsworth , cousin of the bride. Attendants were Rachel Keller of Chicago and Elizabeth Keller of Los Angeles, sisters of the bride groom; Rachel Brocker of Portland, Oregon; Laura Dick of Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Katie Nicholson Hemel of Nashville, Tennessee; Mrs. Mary Douglas Neal Hirsch of Greenville, South Carolina; Emily Kite of London, England; Anna Padget of Boston, Massachusetts; Mrs. Laurie Smith Rhoney of Hickory, North Carolina; and Mary Varga.

The bridegroom's father served as best man. The groomsman was Lt. Carl Ellsworth Jr., of Anacortes, Washington, brother of the bride. The ushers were Matthew Sanchez of Chicago and J. Michael Trautmann of Los Angeles. The Reader was Rachel Duncan, cousin of the bride.

The couple enjoyed a backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail and will reside in Shelburne, Vermont.
