I had the pleasure of living with my granddad, Miller Montgomery, for four months back in 1993. He passed away a few years later. I was so grateful for that special time I had gotten with him, but I can't say it didn't come without a few amusing moments. More ... Things used to be so simple. I could grab a bag of Cheez- Its and a Michelob, turn the TV to Keith Jackson on a September Saturday, and relax, knowing ABC would give me football without any unnecessary frills. The Gipper's Place near the beach is his favorite hangout. This particular night Digger is too far gone to drive. His friends tell him so, but Digger will not give up his car keys.
