Celebrating 35 years of helping its restaurant team members reach educational goals, the Chick- fil- A chain has awarded national Leadership Scholarships to Joshua Bigby from Columbia and Marquita Means from Blythewood.

Bigby is the 38th scholarship student from the Chick- fil- A restaurant at Columbiana Centre, which is operated by Steve Arnold. Bigby is using the $1,000 scholarship to study business management at the University of South Carolina in Columbia.

Means is the 18th scholarship student at the free- standing Chick- fil- A restaurant at Decker Boulevard, which is operated by Aaron Jackson. Means is using the $1,000 scholarship to study computer technology at Columbia College.
