Miss Gibson and Mr. Hamilton marry September 20, 2008
      Charlotte Adams Gibson of Columbia and Raymond Cochran Hamilton of Lexington were married September 20, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, South Carolina. The Rev. Dr. John Richard DeWitt officiated at the 6 pm ceremony. Music was presented by Ronald Miller, organist, Gary Hipp, bagpiper and The Cate Memorial Handbell Choir.

      Mr. Aubrey Franklin Addy, a resident of Laurel Crest Retirement Center for 14 years, died Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the age of 105. Born in Peak, S.C., on November 20, 1902, he was a son of the late James B. and Martha Haltiwanger Addy.
