SCPM donates $1500 to help fund Capital Senior Center
The Senior Care Professionals of the Midlands (SCPM), a local senior industry networking group recognized the growing need for health and wellness education and social engagement within Richland county and raised $1,500 to assist with the Capital Senior Center.
"The Capital Senior Center is truly dedicated to their mission to 'keep older adults physically active and socially engaged.' As a care professional, we understand the importance of the Capital Senior Center and the good work they provide the community. The money raised will be used to assist with health and wellness programs and social engagement activities to the older adults of Richland county," said Joyce Romero, president of the Senior Care Professionals of the Midlands (SCPM).
With nearly 60 members, SCPM is dedicated to increasing public awareness of resources available; to provide networking opportunities with professionals who interact with seniors; and to provide educational opportunities for seniors and health care professionals.
