Now that the State Dept of Education has implemented the Legislature's abolition of the PACT test (Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test) with the PASS (Palmetto Assessment of State Standards) exams, I have a better name for next year's new and improved way to measure student achievement. Replace PASS with the Palmetto Real Annual Yearly Evaluation Review, PRAYER. That way the Dept of Education can better define the scope of illiteracy and innumeracy in S.C. and the legislature can put prayer back in public schools.
