The story is transported to modern day New York City as two young lovers struggle to survive in a world of violence and prejudice.

With music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, the exciting, sophisticated score includes songs like "Maria," "Tonight," and "America" and is considered part of our nation's musical heritage.

Interestingly, the last time Town Theatre produced West S ide Stor , Debra Bricker Brewer (choreographer for this production) played the role of Anita. The energy and enthusiasm of this talented cast of over 35 will create syncopated, detonating performances that will virtually explode on stage.

Director is Scott Blanks; musical director, William Shuler; and choreographer, Debra Bricker Brewer.
