      Christine Jane Barr of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and James Nance Haltiwanger Jr. of Anderson, South Carolina, were married Saturday, August 2, 2008, at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church in North Myrtle Beach. Pastor Thomas Clymer officiated the 6 pm ceremony.

      Mary Douglass Hayne and Orville Stanley Smith IV were married in St. John's Episcopal Church August 16, 2008, at 6 pm. The Rev. John Fletcher Montgomery performed the double- ring ceremony. Music was provided by Robert David Neese Jr., bagpiper; Cameron Charles Kloot, drummer; and Christian Robin Kloot.
