Miss Muthig and Mr. Bridges exchange vows August 2, 2008
Mrs. Brandon Thomas Bridges Erin Jo Muthig of Columbia and Brandon Thomas Bridges of Hendersonville, Tennessee, were married August 2, 2008, at 5 pm in Fred W. Symmes Chapel "Pretty Place" YMCA Camp Greenville. Lorenzo Washington officiated the double- ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Michael G. Muthig. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Frank Hines of Columbia and Ann Muthig and the late James Muthig of Leesville, South Carolina. The bride graduated from A. C. Flora High School, attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and is currently a senior at Middle Tennessee State University majoring in journalism.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Winters of Hendersonville and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bridges of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Eldridge of West Morloon, Tennessee, and Mrs. Rhoda Bridges and the late Virgil Bridges of Madison, Tennessee. He graduated from Hendersonville High School, attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, and received a BA in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University. The bridegroom is employed by Best Buy in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white satin beaded embroidered strapless gown with a pick up skirt and chapel train. The maid of honor was Bess Rawl. The bridesmaids were Robin Muthig, cousin of the bride; Bethany Bridges, sister of the bridegroom; Miller Smith; and Emily Welling.
Drew Uldridge of Madison served as best man. The groomsmen were Lance Allingham, Jimmy Crouch, Sean Houser, and James Mayberry. The ushers were Travis Muthig and Chris Muthig, brothers of the bride.
A reception was held at The Porter Center for Performing Arts at Brevard College.
After a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Murfreesboro.
