Reach Out and Read- South Carolina announces the 4th annual Read and Romp Family Benefit Event.

Read and Romp will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 1- 4 pm at the S.C. State Museum and will be a day of fun best suited for families with children 10 and under.

At Read and Romp, children will be engaged in fun, learning- based activities themed around favorite children's books. In addition to 12 interactive story book stations, there will be face painting, a caricature artist, arts and crafts, and more.

Story book booths will carry children through the adventures of Curious George, Winnie the Pooh, Berenstain Bears and many more favorites.

Admission is only $10 per child; adults and children under two are free.
