      Despite towering home runs from Chris Daniels and Mo Holler and six strong innings from pitcher Will Freeman, the Richland Post 6 Pathfinders dropped their first game of the S.C. American Legion State Tournament in Florence to Goose Creek 7- 5 Wednesday, July 30.

      The Richland Post 6 Pathfinder's playoff run came to an end Thursday as they fell to Spartanburg 4- 2 in Florence at the S.C. American Legion State Tournament July 31. Spartanburg jumped on Richland starter Kyle Williamson early as Alex Dozier led off the game with a single, then later scored on Luke Danielwicz's sacrifice fly.

      Tyler Martin led Irmo/ Chapin over Lake City 14- 6 in the opening round of the S.C. American Legion State Tournament in Florence Wednesday, July 30. Martin went 3- for- 3 and smashed a grand slam in the third inning. He had six RBI for the game.
