Checks from the Shandon and Hollywood- Rosehill Neighborhood Associations were delivered in the amount of $1,500 to Rosewood Elementary, AC Moore, Hand Middle, and Dreher high school. The money was raised from the 2007 Holiday Tour of homes in these neighborhoods. (L- r) Kaley Wilson (co-chair of the association), Marisa Vickers (Hand Middle School principal), Jackie Barker (co-chair). The grand old house that had been home to the Sinkler family for over 200 years disappeared beneath the waters of Lake Marion just a few miles from Eutawville.
