Richland One students will grab their school supplies and head back to class on August 18, the first day of the 2008- 2009 school year.

Even students and parents who have been through the back- to- school routine many times may have a question or two, so Richland One will open its Back- to- School HelpLine again this year.

The HelpLine will be in operation August 15, 18, and 19, from 7 am to 5 pm each day. Representatives from several district departments, including Student Transportation Services, Student Nutrition Services, and Nursing Services will staff the HelpLine to answer back- to- school- related questions and address any issues or concerns.

Students and parents in need of assistance should call the Richland One HelpLine at 231-7645 (ROHL). The HelpLine Call Center will be set up in Room 102 of the Stevenson Administration Building, 1616 Richland St.

Please note the Help- Line will be open only on the designated dates. A voice- mail message will direct persons who call the HelpLine prior to or after those dates to the district's switchboard (231-7000) and the calls will be routed to the appropriate departments.
