Sandhills School has elected seven new members to its Board of Trustees. They are Brooke Carter, Eagle Eye Analytics Marion Hope, Hope Aviation Insurance Cindy Kostreba, My Fluffy Pooch Thomas Peacock, Palmetto Insurance Group, LLC Mike Thacker, Bank of America Jim Tharp, McCrory Construction Daniel Wilcox, Dial, Dunlap & Edwards

The new Executive Committee for the Board of Trustees will include: Chair David C. Lockwood III, Colliers Keenan; Immediate Past Chair Meredith Manning, BlueCross BlueShield of SC; Vice Chair A. Harper Shull, IV, Winnsboro Petroleum; Treasurer Harry W. Miley Jr., Miley & Associates; and Secretary Cindy Kostreba.

Sandhills School is a non-profit, independent school for first through ninth grade students with average to above- average intelligence who have been diagnosed with a learning difference. They specialize in dyslexia and ADHD. Their faculty is trained in the Orton- Gillingham approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling.
