Pamela Edwards Pamela Edwards has joined The Columbia Star family as assistant to the editor. She was born in Asheville, N.C., and lived most of her life in Western North Carolina. She owns family land in Polk County, N.C.

Pamela has been in the newspaper business for 10 years. She worked at the Tryon Daily Bulletin before following her fiance, Hugh, to Columbia. Pamela has three grown children: Jill, Hannah, and Caleb; and two grandchildren, Brandt and Journey. She enjoys cooking, sewing, and crafts. Her newest favorite thing to do is soapmaking.
