"Field Trip Fridays" will be held each Friday through August 29 at the Hampton- Preston Mansion, 1615 Blanding Street.

Participants will receive an introduction to archaeology and discuss the importance of the archaeology project on the grounds of the Hampton- Preston Mansion. Families, children and adults are welcome. This event is $5 for members, adults, and children (recommended for children 5 and older).

"Field Trip Fridays" provides an opportunity for participants to spend the day with archaeologists for hands- on activities related to the project on- site. The archaeology survey project is led by a research team from the University of South Carolina's Anthropology Department.
