Community Foundation awards over $100,000 in scholarships

Central Carolina Community Foundation has awarded $102,150 in scholarships among 31 local recipients of which 84% are attending South Carolina colleges/universities.

The awards were granted from 13 scholarship funds that the Foundation administers. The recipients are

Handel- Carter Assistance Fund: Daralyn Washington

Jacqueline M. Miller Scholarship: Andrew Drake, William Lewis, and Montika Simpson

Lewis Wardlaw Blackman Memorial Scholarship: Elizabeth Bergen, Andrew Dixon, and Eric McClam

National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, SC Scholarship: Atara Howard
