Prada, Walter, and Niffy, canine children of Marie Lipton, owner of Pupcakes Boutique, pose for the store's birthday announcement photo. Marie Lipton, owner of Pupcakes Boutique, will hold the first annual Birthday Paw- ty July 26, 2008, at the store. Lipton and her silky terrier, Prada, the store's precocious assistant manager, will host the event to mark their one- year anniversary owning and operating the 2732 Devine Street store and to thank Columbia for its support.

This celebration is free to the public and will take place throughout the day from 10 am- 5 pm. Two- legged and four- legged customers are welcome. Complimentary frozen treats will be available for dogs to nibble during the all- day event. Lipton will be whipping up a large batch of her famous frozen dessert for pups using the special recipe she crafted especially for her dogs Walter, Prada, and Niffy.

To give thanks to customers and Columbia for this past year of support, Lipton will give a 30 percent discount on all items in the store exclusively for this day.

Pupcakes Boutique is a family- owned boutique dedicated to our animals and you.
