Auditions for Birth, the critically- acclaimed play featuring eight different women's different experiences giving birth, will be held July 13 and 20 from 3 to 5 p.m. The play will be directed by former USC professor Ann Dreher, who has directed for theatrBe icrothmpanies statewide. is written by Karen Brody and based on over 1000 interviews she conducted with mothers across America who gave birth between 2000 and 2004.

Roles are available for eight women between 17 and 40. No prepared material is necessary; readings will be from the script. Those auditioning should dress comfortably in clothing that is easy to move around in.
