That in order that all persons who may have some interest in the property may be brought before this Court, all such unknown persons have been named parties defendant, of which all unknown adults being a class designated as John Doe and all unknown minors or persons under other legal disability or in the military service being a class designated as Richard Roe; and it is necessary that some discreet, competent person be appointed to represent such unknown persons unless such persons or someone on their behalf should apply to the Court for such an appointment.

3. That H. Freeman Belser is a suitable and proper person to be appointed Guardian ad Litem Nisi for said parties defendant, resident or non-resident, who may be adults or minors or under other legal disability, or in the military service, and is in no way connected in business with the Plaintiffs or its counsel and has no interest adverse to the interest of such minor defendants, defendants under other legal disability, defendants in the military service, and other unknown defendants claiming any right, title, or interest in the estate which is the subject of this action. PUBLIC NOTICE OF ABANDONED PROPERTY

Pursuant to New Hampshire State Law Title XVI Chapter 201-E, Section 201-E:3, Dartmouth College seeks to return a collection of historic documents to the estate or heirs of James Y. Perry (deceased). Last known place of residence 4835 Kilbourne Road, Columbia, SC. The collection dates from 1777-ca.1857, and consists primarily of letters written to Daniel Webster and Gorham Parson. The collection includes letters written by John Adams, Josiah Quincy, Millard Filmore, William Wigglesworth and John Everett, among others.

Persons with any knowledge of the whereabouts of the owner of the above described property please provide written notice to Peter Carini, Rauner Special Collections Library, 6065 Webster Hall, Dartmouth College, Hanover NH, 03755. If written assertion of title is not presented by the owner to Dartmouth College within 90 days from the date of the second published notice, the property shall be considered abandoned or donated and shall become the property of Dartmouth College.
