      He was the courtly white- haired gentleman who ambled through Five Points several times a week dressed always in jacket and necktie. His gait slowed when he reached his 90s, and he carried an umbrella which he used as a cane.

      Alice Jeanette Trebuchon and Joshua Jason Bice were married June 21, 2008, at 6 pm in Salem United Methodist Church in Ballentine, South Carolina. Rev. Mitch Houston performed the double- ring ceremony. Music was provided by Justin Addington, pianist, of Cowpens, South Carolina.

Military Museum to be featured on PBS
      The S.C. Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum will be featured in an upcoming episode of the PBS show History Detectives. The episode explores a privately owned flag that is linked to the largely forgotten African- American 371st Infantry Regiment, which fought in World War I and members were mainly from South Carolina.
