Shawn Linebaugh and Justin Norris each went 3- for- 5, and each hit a double and a home run to lead Irmo/ Chapin to an 11- 7 victory over West Columbia at Airport High School Friday, June 13.

Norris was also the starting pitcher for Irmo/ Chapin allowing two earned runs and striking out two in five innings of work. Tyler Martin relieved Norris in the sixth and seventh innings and allowed two earned runs. Chad Balderman pitched the final two innings and retired six straight West Columbia batters.

It was the third loss in a row for West Columbia despite steller efforts from Thomas Little, who went 3- for- 3 from the plate with a run and an RBI, and Ryan Burt, who went 2- for- 3 with a double, an RBI, and three runs scored.
