      Shawn Linebaugh and Justin Norris each went 3- for- 5, and each hit a double and a home run to lead Irmo/ Chapin to an 11- 7 victory over West Columbia at Airport High School Friday, June 13. Norris was also the starting pitcher for Irmo/ Chapin allowing two earned runs and striking out two in five innings of work.

      Will Freeman pitched seven strong innings and the Pathfinders scored eleven runs in the fourth inning to give Richland Post 6 a 13- 5 victory over first place Irmo/ Chapin on June 16. Richland sent 15 batters to the plate and poured in all eleven runs without earning an out, highlighted by Kirk Sims's booming grand slam.

      Columbia Northeast continued its hot play winning its fourth straight with a 14- 2 drubbing of West Columbia Monday, June 16 at Spring Valley High School. West Columbia jumped out to a 2- 0 lead in the first inning after sacrifice fly from Ryan Burt and a single Lucas Knight scored Zack Sharpe and Luke Beasley respectively.
