Holder Properties breaks ground for new office tower on Main Street

      The chief executive officers of Edens & Avant, The McNair Law Firm, and NBSC gathered with developer John Holder before 300 future fellow building occupants for lunch and ceremonial shoveling at noon Tuesday, June 17, on the site of the new office tower on the west side of Main Street between Lady and Gervais.

      Duke's two new nuclear reactors Duke Energy recently asked the South Carolina Public Service Commission for permission to collect $64.4 million in development costs from its 500,000 S.C. customers to proceed with two new nuclear reactors in Cherokee County. The $64.4 million is 28 percent of $230 million in approved pre- construction costs.
