The May meeting of the Petal Pushers Garden Club was a luncheon at the Capital City Club hosted by Katharine Matthews. Cohostesses were Joan Heard, Dorothy Strickland, and Mary Mungo. New officers installed by Catherine Muller are Pam Ables, vice president; Shirley Smith, treasurer; Dorothy Strickland, corresponding secretary; Edna Kreese; and Nell Dreher, recording secretary. The outgoing president, Louise Grooms, was thanked for her dedication and outstanding service with a donation to the Memorial Garden. Bernice Folsom received a blue ribbon and a rosette for her artistic arrangement in the Iris Show. Betty Lewis won a blue ribbon in the horticulture Division.
