New officers of the S.C. Legislative Women's Caucus are Rep. Vida Miller; Rep. Joan Brady, chairman; Rep. Shannon Erickson; and Rep. Laurie Funderburk. The SC Legislative Women's Caucus recently held their final meeting of the 2008 Session and elected new officers for the coming year.

Representative Joan Brady(R) Richland, has been elected incoming chairwoman of the Caucus. The other new officers are Rep. Vida Miller (D) Georgetown, Rep. Shannon Erickson (R) Beaufort, and Rep. Laurie Funderburk (D) Kershaw.

Rep. Brady said, "The SC Legislative Women's Caucus researches and promotes legislation affecting South Carolina's women and families. This caucus is open to all legislators and anyone who would like to be an associate member may join. We look forward to a productive new year."
